Lucindale breaks ground on eco-friendly Albany Creek community, Riverfront.

12th January 2022 – Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Riverfront ( is a terrace home precinct on the junction of Albany Creek and the South Pine River, Moreton Bay, Queensland. As Australia's third-largest Council, the Moreton Bay Region has a reputation for innovation and community centred growth. With catalytic projects such as the Moreton Bay Rail Link (opened in 2016) and the University of the Sunshine Coast's Moreton Bay Campus - Australia's newest greenfield university campus, the destination is one of Australia's fastest-growing regions.

The 8-hectare development is segmented into 3 distinct zones: the residential (containing 39 terrace homes), a recreation hub (resort pool, BBQ & outdoor dining) and a communal green space (nature trails, organic garden, seating areas & river/creek access). The adjoining South Pine River & Albany Creek have significant ecological and State value. A conservation corridor will be created to protect its riparian visitation values.

Their deep science and patented methodology and software platform was created by the Australian Government’s Cooperative Research Centre for Sustainable Tourism (STCRC) over a 10-year period. The STCRC grew to be the largest dedicated tourism research organisation in the world.
