This process identifies drivers of biodiversity loss and opportunities to manage impacts in line with reporting frameworks, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Taskforce for Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), Science-Based Targets for Nature (SBTN) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
We utilise spatially explicit datasets to geographically map the interface between nature and your direct or supply chain operations. Tools are selected based on their feasibility, scalability, granularity and validity to suit your business operations.
Our outputs highlight overlaps between ecosystems, species and your operations, accounting for Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) and Protected Areas. Recognised standardised metrics, such as ecosystem extent and health, and species abundance and extinction risk, are applied. This information informs strategy development and helps prioritise opportunities for action.
