EarthCheck is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Mirerva Holmes as the new Principal Consultant, Head of Partnerships & Innovation.
As one of Australia’s leading innovation architects, Mirerva is regarded highly for her game changing partnerships having worked with both private industry and government organisations to help develop distinctive solutions. Her energy and enthusiasm has a focus on public engagement through environmental, cultural and art connection.
Most recently Mirerva specialised in city and social activation to increase visitation to Australia, with a particular emphasis on events, green infrastructure and human centred design.
Mirerva brings 20 years of experience to EarthCheck, after working for Engineers Australia, Sustainability Victoria, City of Melbourne and Melbourne Water, where she was the Corporate Partnerships Manager.
In 2017, Mirerva was a judge for the United Nations World Environment Day Awards and a member of the Ecocity World Summit International Advisory Committee who brought Al Gore to Australia to deliver his seminal keynote.
Especially passionate about climate change and future city resilience, Mirerva’s visioning is often ahead of the curve and inspiring, and we are thrilled to have her on board.
