Overview
The Sustainable Community Leader Program identifies the aspects to promote and foster the leadership of a particular business or partner/member to assimilate and inspire direction within a community. Promoting the skills to assess the activities within a community and develop sustainable pillars to promote practises that encourage environmental preservation and protection, social and community values, and the development economic security in engaging networks.
Visioning & Scoping Sustainable Communities

- Duration: 0.5 Day (In-house/Online)
Overview
Using real-world examples, the Visioning & Scoping of Sustainable Communities course looks at different models used by EarthCheck sustainable communities globally to achieve similar outcomes.
The techniques, funding support and outcomes achieved by each are assessed, as well as the lessons they learned along the way.
Participants learn the required skills that will help them to identify the unique needs and opportunities within their own communities.
They will also learn how to develop a vision, plan and undertake basic social and economic modelling, which they can then use to gain the buy-in of community stakeholders and leaders.
